MIDNIGHT
COWBOY
(TIJUANA · MX · 2023)
(COMMERCIAL HOSPITALITY)
Midnight Cowboy, the speakeasy sister to Cereus Bar and Nativo Coffee, brings a 70s twist to the classic Western tavern. Deep, dark greens cover the walls, curtains, and upholstery, contrasted by a rich marble bar countertop. Nestled in the basement of a 1940s building, the original brick wall was uncovered to showcase a memorabilia display. Dimmed warm lighting, red neon accents, and chocolatey woodwork set the tone for a wild night out. Local artists added personal touches, with Tijuanense artist Raul Costa crafting intricate wooden patterns on the walls and ceilings, and signwriter Miguel Angel creating a handwritten menu on a mirrored surface. Midnight Cowboy transports you to the untamed West with a cozy, modern flair.
